The 4th conference “Nanotechnology and Innovation in the Baltic Sea Region” (NIBS2021) was organized by the North German Initiative Nanotechnology Schleswig-Holstein e.V. (NINa SH), the Mads Clausen Institute at the University of Southern Denmark, Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania, and Kiel University, Germany.
In 2021 the three-day conference was hosted as a virtual event, including two interactive poster sessions and a start-up business forum. Although people hunger for direct interaction, the virtual format proofed to be successful!
