Save the Date: NIBS & Nanotech Poland 2026, June 8-11, 2026, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland

The international conference series Nanotechnology and Innovation in the Baltic Sea Region (NIBS) will take place for the ninth time from June 8–11, 2026 — for the first time jointly with Nanotech Poland 2026 at the Morasko Campus of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland.

NIBS 2026 offers an excellent platform to enhance your visibility as a researcher, company, or stakeholder in the field of nanotechnology and advanced materials. The joint event brings together an international network of academia, industry, and innovation actors, creating ideal conditions to initiate new research projects, collaborations, or technology-driven start-ups, and to connect with potential partners and markets.

The scientific program will feature high-level keynote and invited lectures as well as thematic sessions addressing current developments in nanoscience, functional materials, and their applications in health, energy, manufacturing, and environmental technologies. In addition, kick-off meetings for several major international research initiatives — including projects within CONCERT-Japan, ERA4Health, and national programs focusing on polymer nanomaterials — are planned. Special emphasis will be placed on innovation-oriented activities and the support of early-career researchers.

The conference is jointly organized with Kiel University, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, the University of Southern Denmark, and Kaunas University of Technology, and actively promotes collaboration between academia and industry across the Baltic Sea region and beyond.
