The competence center Greenshipping Niedersachsen, NINa SH e.V. and WTSH GmbH invite you to the joint event “Functional Surfaces for Clean Oceans – Solutions for Anti-Fouling Coatings” on the 17. November 2016.
Tin-organic based biocides were banned for ship coatings in 2008. Since then, the active agent in most biocidal anti-fouling coatings is copper, combined with other biocides. In the upcoming event we would like to address promising alternatives to biocidal coatings and discuss on the existing development needs.
