Prof. Dr. Franz Faupel, CAU
Professor Faupel researches and teaches at Kiel University. He has led the Chair for Multicomponent Materials since 1994. His research is focused, amongst others, on functional multicomponent nanomaterials and metal-polymer interfaces. Professor Faupel has already supervised and coordinated NINa since 2005.
Dr. Rainer Döhl-Oelze, GITZ
Dr. Rainer Döhl-Oelze already coordinated the TSH-initiative Surface Technology, a successor of NINa. He has held various positions in the fields of technology transfer and business formation consultancy. Amongst others, he has been working as technology consultant and CEO of the technology centers Wuppertal and Geesthacht.
Dr. Jens Urny
Dr. Jens Urny is is research administrator at the Helmut-Schmidt-Universität in Hamburg since 2014.
Before, the chemist und molecular biologist cared for the implementation of the core area “nanoscience and surface research” of Kiel University until the end of 2013. Dr. Urny is one of the founding members of NINa SH e.V. His main interest is in communication and promotion of science as well as technology transfer.

Joachim Bergmann, WTSH
Joachim Bergmann is consultant for innovation, IP and trademarks at the WTSH GmbH in Kiel. After his occupation as product manager at Hagenuk and Heidelberger Druckmaschinen he has consulted SME in Schleswig-Holstein since 2008.
Wissenschaftszentrum Kiel GmbH
Werner Kässens has been CFO of the Wissenschaftszentrum Kiel GmbH since 2006. At the same time he has been working for the KiWi GmbH, of which he became managing director in 2014.
Dr. Jörg Wiesmann, Incoatec
Dr. Jörg Wiesmann has been CEO and co-partner of Incoatec GmbH since 2002. In the company he is responsible for marketing and sales, business administration, finance and HR. Before his work at Incoatec, Dr. Wiesmann conducted research at the Institute for Materials Science at the GKSS Research Center Geesthacht (today Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht).
